Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young ??/??/70
Early Compilation, Various, Various
Set I
David Crosby/Graham Nash
11-09-1970
BBC, UK ARENA

The first public collaboration of Crosby & Nash as a duo.

01. Simple Man
02. Marrakech Express
03. Guinnevere
04. Song With No Words (Tree With No Leaves)
05. Teach Your Children
06. Right Between The Eyes
07. Lee Shore
08. Traction In The Rain

On November 9, 1970, the BBC In Concert series presented Crosby & Nash. It's a revelation, folks. Words alone can't express how wonderful this eight-song set is. Aside from the fact that this captures their first public collaboration as a duo and, as such, is an historic document worthy of official release, the performance itself is stunning--from Graham's "Simple Man" to David's closing "Traction in the Rain." The sound is not perfect and there is a little tape speed/sound problem on Simple Man, but it much improves after that. The performance is nothing short of an A+ IMHO.
