J-Card Comment:

The first night of a four-day booking with 2 sets each night (each is the same set of songs, but obviously different performances); on the 2nd night, Iggy was injured audience-diving, landing on a table of glasses, cutting open his chest and causing blood to gush everywhere. The last two nights at Max's where postponed, but Iggy's chest-gashing didn't stop him from going to Madison Square Garden to see the new claimants to Iggy's throne as the kings of decadence--the New York Dolls. Iggy's downward spiral escalated, and in a little more than a year, the Stooges' reign would be over. Long live Iggy & the Stooges!
