I did not attend this particular show, but I was at the previous day's one in Villafranca, near Verona. This is possible the
best jazz concert I've ever attended, at least in terms of piece of art. Four highly talented musicians, probably there are
in the top 20 jazz musicians ever. What struck me during the performance was a mix of improvisation and perfect alignment
among the musicians. I tend to label this band as a variation of Wayne's standard quartet with Patitucci and Perez
replacing Herbie and Dave. It has the same kind of feeling and quite similar setlist. It was simply amazing. Perugia was
their show at Umbria Jazz. This one comes from my master. Enjoy!
