Notes: This appearance was probably in support of their 1972 album, Toulouse Street. Their first album, the Doobie Brothers, had been released in April 1971. The numbers next to the songs is which album the song came from. Interestingly, Road Angel wasn't on an album until their 4th, What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits. Tilted Park Crud Hunchery was actually on an unreleased demo album produced by Paul Curcio but rejected by the record company in 1970. I'm not sure about Morning Blues. They are not real polished yet but I think very enjoyable.

They talk about playing the "New Monk?" club (I probably heard the name wrong) and then Revival in North Beach with free beer in the next couple of days after this. They definitely were still playing their small club roots! If anyone has any perspective on these clubs, let us know. They also talk about Texas Gold, I'm assuming a beer or whiskey?

I thought it was funny that they didn't know who Mike Wilhelm from the Charlatans was - I guess they thought he was just some dude jamming with them. I think the Charlatans were done by then.

I think the KSAN announcer might be Thom O'Hare definitely not Donahue.
