Heres a great show i filmed, this time its NY Krishna punks "Shelter",
This is a great show and they really enjoyed themselves, also it was
the last show of a huge European tour and i'm sure they were dying to
get home and recover...they sold off lots of merchandise cheap and i
got a great deal on a ton of stuff. They were really cool people and
that was a big change, as the last year had a lot of moaning bands,
like Sloppy Seconds, The Hard Ons, DOA and more, who acted like they
were doing us a favour by turning up in Scotland. I'm not saying the
bands are bad, just at that time nearly every band from the states
seemed pissed off compared to European and UK bands who were just
happy to play no matter how many people were at the show.....

The one exception is of course the Dickies, who have nearly always
played Edinburgh when touring Europe and they have always been cool
genuinely nice people....things are a lot better these days with
bands looking like they actually enjoy what they are doing and not
treating being in a band as just another job. I think this is down
to the realisation over the last few years that the golden record
deals which a few bands got aren't coming anytime soon so they have
all gone back to feeling lucky to be playing to genuine fans, and
they are no longer thinking "Career" and instead they are thinking "Get Pissed, Pogo, Party", and see the world, the punk rock world!

Anyway, cool band, cool show, and another great addition
to everyones ever expanding Punk Rock DVD collection....
