This was recorded by my friend Jim Milano who passed away 20 years ago and left me his cassette collection.
A few interesting live recordings are in there and will be shared from the master cassettes.
Jim used a little handheld superscope recorder that had the auto leveling feature and a built in microphone.
He usually paused the deck between songs but not this time and he missed the end of the last song : (
And I was the one that always bugged him not to pause the tape deck between songs-sorry.
This recording actually sounds very good considering the equipment used.
With these decks location was critical to the sound quality (distance = hiss).

Very interesting performance from Nina and band.
Actually discovered many of the song titles (thanks to google).
I know very little of Nina Hagen so I will leave it to others to fill in the blanks and make corrections.
Although I never followed her it does no good for the Nina Hagen fans if this does not get shared.
It took many listenings before this was completed and I was really enjoying it (after getting accustomed to her style).
So I guess I missed out on a very interesting evening back then.
