NFTEek:
Wow, great capture.. Had a good few tweaks to get it to shine though..
I did the usual stuff within reason - Parametric EQ to perk up specific instruments, then multiband compression to control those frquencies.. Then there was a floor of really BAD noise hanging between 60 and 300 hZ that only the Dynamic Control plugin could tame... THen the Quick Filter really turned the trick on all the former tweaks, giving me the power and control that I was looking for, and lastly the hiss reduction. WHAT hiss reduction you say? Why, thank you very much, you see, this is my aim - to reduce the hiss without anyone realizing it...
There's some clipping on some of the cymbal crashes - I tried a few things, but ultimately my efforts hurt other instruments, so I left the distortions in there... The worst example of it is during loud bits of Los Endos - whenever Phil and Chester are going at it.
Overall, the results acheived are impressive... Yes, even to me... This is a very loose gig. Chester and Phil seem to be playing a bit outside their usual box of safety.
...hope you dig it...
