LB-0255, xref-01622

There are two seeds left at this juncture. LB-0255 is from the same source as LB-0252. jokerman.org remarked, "in comparison this [LB-0255] does not have the hiss on that one [LB-0252], seems clearer, but also tinnier and although that is harsh this is much harsher, some will think it better."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In addition, LB-0252, xref-00993 was posted here in March '12 by roberts. Before that, in April '10, greeney55 posted LB-8560. This latter upload was missing track 12 (Like A Rolling Stone).

There are likely multiple sources: It has been reported that the taper of LB-0252 and LB-0255 was the "Legendary Taper D, with the following lineage: Sennheiser MKE-2002 > Sony WM 6." LB-8560 was "taped and upped by Greeney55." LB-2564 is described as markp's work. Some of the sources have been erroneously identified as soundboard recordings, when they clearly are not. The personnel involved has also been debated, e.g., some say G.E. Smith was present while others claim Neil Young was present because he was subbing for an ill Smith. Marshall Crenshaw has been occasionally listed as the bass player. bjorner.com lists the personnel below.

aaadbell posted LB-2564 here in April '05. He said, "I obtained the audio discs directly from the taper. I have two other versions of this show, including one torrented by appleberry in 2004, and they are both different from this one. The taper indicates that this version has only circulated lightly. If you want to check this against a copy you have, the key fingerprints are the two drop-outs in the first track and the man in the audience at the start of You're A Big Girl Now. See the annotated tracklist below."

jokerman.org stated, "very good to excellent sound [B+]; this time on my comparison sample, I thought the LB-0252 was the best followed by this one [LB-2564] followed by LB-0255; this one gets harsh on t13; this has least full sound."

So, in summary, LB-0252, LB-0255, & LB-8560 have been seen here in the past 6 years. LB-2564 was seen here more than 10 years ago. I have kept the aaadbell's original setlist in the upload. There is some artwork included.
