This is transfer I did on 14/06/2009 from a compilation C60 Cassette I made in the early 1980s.

This compilation came from what must have been a relatively low gen copy of the full concert. I do not have the full concert cassettes anymore.

I must apologise at this point for not keeping the whole concert recording but I must have thought these were just the best bits...it was a long time ago!


The source seems to be the same as "Animals in the Hall" but this is definitely clearer and a lower generation.

I obtained the full concert tapes about the time I was at University (1981-4) but I can not remember how exactly.

It could have been a guy who was two years up from me at School who actually went to one of the Stafford 77 gigs, but it might have been another guy I knew at University who did a bit of collecting too.

Unknown Low generation audience cassettes > Sony CHF C60 compilation (Dolby On) > NAD Tapedeck (Dolby Off) > Audophile Sound card > Audacity (just digital capture and amplification)- CDWave (track splitting) - Flac front end .

Simon Calkin (a tape trading mate from the early 80s) who emailed me when "Disgusting, Hardly Music" came out and said I should share this recording out.

Paulrammylad and the other members at Yeeshkul whose "Stafford 1977" debate and posts has finally stirred me into action ;-)
