This recording was first posted by Pat Joller to Bowie Station on January 29th 2016. That version had gaps between each track.
He reposted the recording on January 31st 2016, but this time the tracks had been transcoded to 24 bit.

Since no proper version was uploaded, I contacted the original uploader and I received the original Aiff files from him.

Info posted by Pat Joller in the initial postings:

I received this show on a vhs tape back in 2003. This was recorded directly from the live feed broadcasted on the big screens inside the venue and is directed by swiss tv. The audio was extracted from that videotape, it is soundboard recording which is not the case for the torrent you mentioned.

I don't know how many copies were made before I did mine, it's from a VHS source.
It is definitely a soundboard recording.
The announcer is the founder of the festival Mr Claude Nobs (famous because that's him mentioned in smoke on the water... funky claude) and he always announced big acts such as bowie, before the show and at the end of it (to remind people what's going on the next days on the festival site).

A lot of thanks to Pat Joller for posting this recording and secondly to include a proper version in the Bowstat series.
