"French fan club release"

Black vinyl edition.

Tracks on Sides A & B are from "The Doors Are Open" documentary on British TV, recorded at Roundhouse, London on Sept 7th or 8th 1968. All tracks on Sides C & D were from a concert in Stockholm on Sept. 20, 1968, except for tracks D-2 & D-3 were from the Jonathan Winters T.V. show on Dec. 27, 1967. Track D-4 was from a concert at The Matrix Club in San Francisco on March 7, 1967. Track D-5 was from a concert in Miami on March 1, 1969.

This particular reissue does not feature The Doors logo on the back cover or on the labels like other issues.

Also, on this reissue, the photo of Morrison's head is blown up so it takes up more space on the cover and the black lettering on the spine does not include the name of the band.

Titles of the original Doors songs (although, not the covers) on the labels are cleverly disguised with alternate names. For example: "Love Me Two Times" is listed as "Twice In Love".
