This post is all about freely sharing some great music, spreading the vibe of these bands, increasing sales of their goods and attendance at their shows and having a little fun. _____________________________________ Sensational show here folks. Wanted to get this up before taking off for the Charlotte gig tonight. Great setlist. Calling the first round an "acoustic set" is using the words "acoustic set" very loosely. Luther is on electric for the bulk of it and it freakin' kicks. Got a 1st time played in "East Virginia Blues". "Smile" was nice. "Ballad/Wiser" just took things to a whole new level. Also a bit surprising in we got both of the long jam numbers (TIMP, MMS) in the acoustic set. That excited me a bit as one of these usually takes a big slot in the electric set so I thought we might get something special. I was right - got "Title Song". I thoroughly enjoyed a wickedly nasty "Downtown Money Waster" and also got my "Oh! Sweet Nuthin'" fix for 2010 in the electric set. I'm not quite sure how this one's gonna be topped in the next two nights. But one thing I'm sure of - never underestimate the Robinson brothers - they always deliver. Y'all enjoy! |
