The Mississippi Allstar Trio were quite a treat! No doubt I will be checking out some of there material in the near furure. For 2 musicians, they sure put out a lot of sound.
The recording came out very well (samples included). I now have both a new recorder and mics! :-) The DR-2D is neat because it allows you to save two versions of the show, with the second version being up to 12dB lower if you choose. If the louder version runs into clipping issues, you have a second (quieter) version to use instead. For this case, my levels were very low, so no second version was needed.
The Palace seats maybe 3000 and I was about 2/3 of the way back. The audience was generally fairly quiet although you can hear a low rumble of chatter in the quiet parts. Nothing bothersome however.
As always, this recording is to be traded freely and NEVER SOLD. Enjoy the show and, if you attended, relive the music! Please support the artist by buying their official releases and merch.
