Béla Fleck & the Flecktones were one of my top 3 favorite acts of the festival. They are all so talented, and this is the first the original lineup has played as a band since 1992. The crowd was very pleased by the band, just dancing away in the scorching heat. I held an umbrella the entire set in order to shade myself, that's how hot it was. I wasn't going to take any risks, I needed to last the whole weekend. So it was interesting to only have one free hand to record with. I can see myself on the official footage from this show when the camera pans out to the crowd. I didn't take any pictures of Béla Fleck or many in general because I knew there'd be a decent supply shared on the WWW.
