Comments:
Unlike the Riviera where the rejection and focus characteristics of the guns were definitely a factor, this recording is offered mainly as an alternative. I think our Microtech Gefell 210 source is superior - it has a more open "is it live or is it
Memorex" feel, but different people have different ears and different tastes and may prefer this one. The differences are not dramatic.
The Pageant is really not a great sounding room, but relatively speaking for a typical Mule room and a typical Mule crowd on any given night, I would be more than happy to get this level of detail and acceptable level of chatter every night.
You can use 90 min discs, but with a total runtime of 81:41 for Set II, less than the 82 minute typical maximum, if your software can overburn a 80 minute CD then Set II will also fit seamlessly on one standard 80 min CDR.
Enjoy! RobertNC and bish - Team GangstaLean Productions.
