Had a little difficulty getting in the gates being loaded down with hardcases full of gear not to mention a stand.  At first we were instantly denied but we persisted until evenutally the right people were contacted and we were let in.  Opening band was Hey Rosetta! and they were quite good as well.  Rain was threatening the entire show and at one point, there was a light rain for about 20 minutes.  Crowd was insane!  Lots of screaming, pushing and shoving and it was tough at times to see the band.  Thank goodness I brought a stand with me but people were coming perilously close to knocking it a few times.  A fight broke out directly in front of my stand between some security and a guy smoking a joint.  Definitely a bit of overkill in the security's side as he was escorted out.

Musically, the band was fantastic.  They performed a nice mix of songs including some that we don't hear too often.  They seemed pumped & bouyed by the crowd's enormous energy and clearly gave it their all.  The night was a great success and enjoyed by all.
