the 4023 mics were split 12 inches, and angled at 110 degrees
the 4052 mics were split 2 feet, and were pointed at the outside of the stacks
the mic stand was approximately 9 feet tall

technical notes:
Tim ran the 4052 recording a bit hot.
Towrds the end of "Walls of the Cave", there was a short segment that was clipped, distorted, and sounded crackly.
During this portion, I dropped the 4052's out of the mix entirely, and it's just the straight up 4023's.
