* during "hoe down" futch is making those sounds w/his
mouth. bela is matching it w/his banjo. quite talented!
** during "sherpa", bela & vic are standing toe 2 toe
trading licks trying 2 top ea. other. eventually they
start jabbing at ea. others instrument 2 throw ea.
other off. they even reach over 2 try 2 un-tune ea.
others instrument - crowd laughs.
in case you didn't know, futch is not playing drums. he is
walking around playing this hand held instrument he built
4 drumming. occasionally, he steps up 2 his drum kit & just
starts choppin' wood. i mean chips a flyin' everywhere.
notes: it was first night i used all this gear & i was also
right under the right house cabinet, thus, distortion
during some of futch's heavey drumming parts. the
best i could do was 2 turn down the volume in tripleDAT
so it doesn't sound so nastey during those drum parts.
sorry :(
i used some minor compression & added just a splash of
highs to create presence. also boosted my lows, ever so
slightly. during some talking parts, i boosted vol so
we could hear vox more clearer. that's it. enjoy, it was
a real gas 4 me. fun show!
