11/19/2002 dave this is an excellent recording for this type of venue. this gig is really happy sounding, and the playing is great. thanks taper Scott Gordon and also to transfer, encoding, seed by Cliff Kaelin.
11/19/2002 Xan Bonneau The sound is a little muddy, but I think the venue is to blame. Fun stuff, great stage banter.
11/19/2002 Jason Sobel has anyone heard both this and my AKG 391 source? I haven't heard this Schoeps source, but Scott had his Schoeps clamped onto my stand, so it would be a good comparison to make, see if the venue acoustics are dominant or if other factors are at play.
11/25/2002 Cliff Just curious why the wav mds are not included and why the names of the md5s have been changed?
11/26/2002 Mark Domyancich You'll have to ask the people who run dylan, Cliff, as I posted the md5s (all that was available for download were the SHN md5s) as I downloaded them from there. As for name changing, again, get in touch with a dylan siteop and ask them. As a db admin I track the general pool of text files and md5s as I receive them. If you'd like me to post your WAV md5s, please get in touch.
12/09/2002 Bill Conrad I have heard two copies of this source, and both have digi pops through out the entire show. Is this a mic problem or is this a problem with the transfer?
01/09/2003 Timothy Henningsen Bill - I would assume the diginoise is coming from your end...I listened to the Schoeps source in its entirety last night, and it was clean from any flaws. Also, as Xan says, it's a little muddy for my liking as well... : (
