Ryan Adams returned to Carnegie Hall for two shows in 2014 after performing there in the winter of 2011. The two night stand featured the entire spectrum of his career, even going back to Whiskeytown on the first night. On night two we were blessed with some rarely played songs, an unreleased new track, as well as new & old favorites. This was easily the best Ryan Adams show I had seen in years. The recording was done in a semi-stealth fashion, with the Zoom recorder (sorry) on the balcony railing. There is a good amount of echo due to the hall's acoustics at that location, as well as a relatively quiet PA. This is far from the best Ryan Adams recording that you will hear, but it's a good representation of a very rare acoustic show in 2014.
