Show #10 Pearl Jam 2000 Project
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you here in the States and blessings and good wishes to those of you who are not. It may be Thanksgiving, but there is no turkey on this plate. Today we present the Paris show from the 2000 European tour. As mentioned back with the Manchester show, the band has really worked out the kinks of the first 2 weeks and are really in top form. This show is no exception. Highlights include a great encore run with, for the second night in a row, a blistering cover of Neil Young\'s \'Fuckin Up\' and another great version of \'Once\' (which will soon disappear from the setlist). \'Daughter\' flows into a version of Tom Waite\'s \'Hold On\' (\"You don\'t meet nice girls in coffee shops\").
I had hoped to get Eifel and Nurnberg up today but it\'s almost noon here in the great state of Maryland and the NFL and Thanksgiving dinner await. In any case, without further ado.................................................
