The Grateful Dead, Brendan Byrne Arena, NJ 1987-04-07
Another high-calorie Original Master Rescue Project... uhh... project. Which according to the PMBOK probably makes it a Program, and probably scope creep.
Notes:
A delightful show, high energy, not many flubs, but those that are, fucking glorious. Boomy Nak-CM-300 Mics with CP-4 Super-Directional Shotgun Capsules, which were the wrong choice, in retrospect - should have used the Omni heads! But still a nice original master, crispy and lively after all these years. Jerry chuckles through the start of Stagger Lee, preparing for his solo, one of the better Stagger Lees in my memory.
Here, Jerry lights on fire, and stays there through a bunch of the rest of the show. Faster and rounder they go, and then comes the crash. A crash so bad, starting Hell In a Bucket, that they actually started over. If anyone has another 'started over', let me know.

Nakamichi CM-300s/2-Mic CP-4 super-directional shotgun capsule -> Sony Walkman Pro/Triad Metal Position MG-X 90 -> JVC TD-W354 -> Zoom H6 96/24 WAV -> Audacity -> FLAC 96/24.
Only posting in 96/24 to keep the sound quality up, feel free to convert it if you like, I hear there are open-source CD-burners that convert on the fly. Mastered with Bose Quiet-Comfort 20 Headphones with NC on, for what it's worth, as the neighbors kept calling the cops. Yes, yes, I know.
