OldNeumanntapr Notes-
This was the second time that Merl played Loco Ranchero in San Luis Obispo, CA, the ‘Club On The Hill’. I once agin was there with my D6 to plug into the board. At least this time it went a little easier since I had met both Merl before, as well as Kip the Loco soundman. Carol Jo, ‘The Wood Nymph’, from KOTR FM introduced Merl at the start of ‘Expressway’. Sorry that the ending of ’Sugaree’ is cut. I probably wasn’t watching the deck closely enough. This was a good weekend, with three shows in two days. I went to the Ventura Fairgrounds the next day for the Jerry Garcia Band, and Merl Saunders that night at the Brew House in Santa Barbara.
