Notes:
phish.net - This show, officially released as Live Phish 19, featured The Giant Country Horns for all songs except Reba, Rocky Top, Golgi, The Squirming Coil, My Sweet One, Hydrogen, both HYHUs, Oh Kee Pa, Adeline, and Fee. It also marked the first Phish performance of Moose the Mooche, which contained a tease of Rhythm-A-Ning from Trey. Trey also teased the Woody Woodpecker theme before Golgi. Prior to Touch Me, Fish was introduced as the Lizard Queen. Touch Me featured Fish on trombone. Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones.
phish.com - This was Phish’s fifth show at the Colonial – an all ages show billed as Phish with Special Guests: The Giant Country Horns.  The Giant Country Horns were Dave “The Truth” Grippo, Russell “Killer” Remington and Carl “Gears” Gerhard.  The Horn Tour Phish Update warned “Note the later than usual starting time for the Colonial show – please don’t arrive too early.”  This show featured the return of Moose the Mooche – played for the first time in nearly three and a half years (since 2/8/88).  Trey teased the Woody Woodpecker Theme before starting Golgi Apparatus.  Before Touch Me, Trey introduced Fish as “The Lizard Queen, Henrietta”.  Fish added some vacuum to Frankenstein during the encore.  Fee and Tweezer Reprise comprised a second encore – played after the band left the stage and returned following Frankenstein.  Combining master tapes from John Paluska with a patch from Zeke Vaughn, this show was released in May 2003 from the archives on Elektra CD and download as “LivePhish19” (part of a series of Mike’s picks).  Mike’s journal entry from 7/12/91 was re-printed in the liner notes of “LivePhish19” stating in part  “I love knowing that the next night we’re in a new place, and every nite.  I love the great music, the horns, the people.  It’s like being a bird flying from place to place with a few friend-birds.  We are free – free to discover the heavens thru music.  This is the U.S.A.!  i want to tour forever.”
