Previous source notes:
---------------------
The band soundchecks Jimi Thing in front of the crowd before starting the show.
Dave mentions this is their first time playing in Alabama. He also talks about the 02/25/93 Athens, GA show from the previous day.
This show has probably the first complete performance of the Also
Sprach Zarathustra intro to Ants.
The rest of set II is missing from this recording.
These rare older shows have been collected and converted through a collaborative effort to get them into circulation. Sometimes these shows do not have the best sound quality (and maybe that's why they aren't circulated much to begin with), but people should have access to them.
Thanks to Dan Pyrik for the CD source used for the conversion.

UPDATE by Henry Hart on 11.25.06:
I did a minor speed/pitch adjustment in Cool Edit Pro v2.1 and
retracked.
Reconversion notes:
----------------------
**Correct venue identified as Phi Delta Theta in Tuscaloosa rather than Louie Louie in Birmingham as previously thought.
Tracks 14 through 19 were previously associated with the 2/25/93 show in Athens, GA. They are actually the missing tracks from this show. See notes below which explain the discrepancies regarding both shows' setlists.
[A currently circulating 2/25/93 source has the first four songs from this show but the remaining songs (including a popular aborted Watchtower) are mislabled and actually from the next night 2/26/93. I consulted w/ Daniel C. at dmbalmanac.com and after reviewing the audio (cuts/etc) he agreed that this a proper source of 2/25/93. DMBAlmanac has since updated their setlists for 2/25/93 and 2/26/93.]
Using AddaWav v1.3, joined tracks 1 through 13 from previous 2/26/93 source then joined tracks 14-19 from previous 2/25/93 source to make this source complete and correct. Volume adjustment applied to tracks 14-19 to line up with levels for tracks 1-13. Resplit all tracks in CD Wav Editor. Track 19 (Jimi Thing) cuts off so fade out applied.
Many thanks to Dan Cheatham and Copperpot5 for sorting out this show for corrrection and recirculation to the dmb community.
