01/17/2003 Chico (from Chico and the man) I'm a bit skeptical about the Curtain With that is supposed to open the 2nd disc. I can not find a Curtain in any other setlist source for this show, let alone a Curtain With. Rift is played at this show which would lead me to believe if there actually was a Curtain, I doubt it would contain the With. According to some sources, they stopped playing the With in 1988. I would think that if there IS a Curtain With at the begining of disc two, one could tell it was from an 80's show by the rawness that I imagine the recording to have. '92 AUD tapes usually sound far above and beyond many a tape made in the '80's.
01/17/2003 jb I guess someone would have to verify by listening, but I would venture to guess that The Curtain was probably part of the set, but did not include the With part. The Curtain was certainly part of the regular rotation at the time and was often a 2nd set opener and Tweezer's usual spot was 2nd song 2nd set. There was no With played between 88 and 00, plus the song timing (~7-8 mins) leads me to believe that this track is The Curtain alone. The Curtain With is generally closer to the 14-18 minute range.
