This is the complete concert from Wetlands on this date. There's an incomplete version on the LMA, taped by Paul Ducharme. That version includes God Street, and was used to patch 3 seconds missing from this recording about 7:30 into the song. The patch is very noticeable because each recording is very different from the other and imperfect in very different ways. Paul's recording picks up the space better, but it runs slow and has almost no treble. This recording has proper high end, but it is very loud and slighly oversaturated, especially the bass line. The levels are low, and perhaps there is an extra cassette generation here, but there is very little hiss, so perhaps not. I suspect that the D5's limiter kicked in hard.
A imperfect recording of a great band is still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
Enjoy!
