03/30/2003 joe p. It's s shame that a band as amazing as Umphrey's is put in the Eagle's Underground. The acoustics down there are aweful. Oleander played that same night in the Ballroom, the top story in that joint. Who the fuck is Oleander? I'm not trying put out a negative vibe or anything, the show was great, I just wish they could play the Rave or the Ballroom, instead of getting the shaft and moved in the basement. I know I'm not the only one here...
03/30/2003 BobDylan Actually I disagree that they should be playing the Rave or the Eagles Ballroom, sound in both of those places is each a LOT worse, those other 2 places are extremely more boomy. Of the 4 rooms in the "Rave", the underground is prolly has the best sound IMO. Not i'm not saying that the Rave Underground is a good venue, I think they need to skip that place all together.
