From Gary - Well here is a bit of history.  This is my first live recording in a concert setting that actually turned out good.  Me and my friend Jay's Sony Walkman in the 7th row in front of the stage left P.A. at the Chicago Auditorium.
Jay, the owner of the Walkman and I made an agreement before the show.  Since my seat was so close, I'd be given the deck to get in and record with, but he'd get to keep the master tape since it was recorded on his deck. I lost track of Jay after he got married, so the actual master is lost to the ages.  This is off my 1st gen copy.  These are the deals we make in life sometimes.  Enjoy.

Higher generations of this recording have previously been circulated as shnids 13424 and 88339.

Notes:

- All tracks have been remixed to give them a better balance. In particular, John Kahn's bass is quite low during Set I and has been made more prominent.
- There are a couple of small patches for continuity, also the last 1:12 of "Gomorrah" and the first 18 seconds or so of "Jack A Roe" have been patched in.  The source used was shnid 122157, thanks to A. Mills.
