Notes/Flaws:
- I am only about 90% sure that this is from Vita's master. It
has all of the earmarks of a Vita aud, and I have it listed as
Vita's, but I have a nagging suspicion that this is based on a
speculation somewhere along the line. I have also seen this
listed with an initial CD gen (master cassette > HHb 800 master
CD > SV-3800 DAT), but I have no idea if this copy derives from
that transfer. I assume it does.
- This is a nice aud, and the show is energetic. In fact, set
II, especially Tangled Up in Blue, sounds like it could run a
bit fast, but the 15:00 version of I'll Take a Melody (which is
quite good) tells me that this is just due to extra energy
coming out of the set break. Someone who can detect pitch might
want to double-check this, though.
- There were a number of dropouts on my source CDs, mostly just
after the songs ended. I removed most of them using Sound Forge
Studio 6.0, some might remain. There is a little bit of channel
fluctuation around 1:10 of Sugaree, and other specific flaws
might remain.
