there was also a CMXY4v source for the 8/11/97 show.....was there a taper running this rig for a string of show? and if so can we get them b/c they sound incredible!!
Dan Estrin and Greg Fox were taping with the xy/4vs for this run of shows. Here's dan's comments from an email he sent me some time back:
"For Alpine '97, I wore B&K 4021's in the hat and also hand-held a Schoeps cmxy4v (a brand new stereo mic at the time, a Marc Nutter loaner) at bow-tie height for this show. If memory serves, the full sources for each of these was:
1) B&K 4021 (in hat)->Beyer MV100->DA-P1; and
2) Schoeps cmxy4v (hand held)->Beyer MV100->DA-P1
