01/02/2004 Ben Mohr Before archiving or burning, be sure to move d1t01-d1t04 (set 3p) to end of disc 2 for the correct set order. Also, this source can be combined with the previously circulated Set 3p for a complete Set 1 and 3 source.
01/03/2004 Pgross Goddard College or Hamilton College?
01/07/2004 bla blazo Goddard College
11/11/2004 jb The confusion about the venue comes from the tape itself. I got ths tape back in 1991 labeled as "Sigma Chi House, Hamilton College, Fall '88", so it definitely circulated under the Hamilton College label. The actual Hamilton College show was 11/5/88, and is an excellent show (although clearly not the same as this one).

However, I would still question the order of the setlist. According to the official setlist sites, Set III starts with the Fluffhead that appears on the Set II, then the three songs on this seed, then the Set III seed with the horns. The intro asking for a beer before GTBT definitely sounds like the beginning of a set (and more likely the beginning of the show), and with Fluffhead plus these three songs, Set III is almost 2 hours long, much longer than any set of a 3 set show in the 80s I'm aware of. Furthermore, I'll verify this on my tape later, I do not remember any discontinuity between Possum and Suzie. Since my tape was made in 1991 before the advent of CDR trading, if there is no discontinuity, it is definitely not the work of a cleverly placed crossfade.

I think that GTBT -> Possum probably actually belongs at the beginning of this set (i.e. Set I), not in Set III. Does anyone know what the source of the setlist is, and I don't mean "hpb" or something like that, I mean is there anyone who was there who can verify that this was actually part of Set III and not Set I.
07/16/2017 mvernon On July 16, 2017 the info file for this source was replaced. The original info file can be found at the bottom of this comment.

The change was done for the following reasons:

1. The checksum is inconsistent with the info file regarding number of tracks and timings

2. communication received from “bla blazo” who is listed at the bottom of the info file.

“I don't have a match for 21412. I believe I originally uploaded it to etree as 10/31/88 because that was the info that came with the cassette. Someone changed my original text file to correct the date, venue and order but left my name. They may have also altered the flac files but I don't really know. Regardless, the ffps on my disc don't match.”

Note: That http://db.etree.org/shn/89339 is the circulating transfer from “bla blazo”.

Summary of the torrent files:
A. The checksums in this torrent do match the checksums in http://db.etree.org/shn/21412 BUT the info file does not. The info file in the torrent explains the track layout and shows that it is different from the "12/28/03 - bla blazo" info file in http:db.etree.org/shn/21412.

B. This is source is different from the bla blazo version but the ffp for this version have been attached to the bla blazo version in the data base.

4. Since the checksums in http://db.etree.org/shn/21412 are for a different info file, and most owners linked to the shnid that are still active have the info file and tracks that match the bt.etree torrent, the info file for http://db.etree.org/shn/21412 was updated to match the torrent files with filler track missing.
