My copy of this show verifies with the etree databse ffp, but d1t8 won't decode. ph91-11-15d1t08.flac: 39% completeph91-11-15d1t08.flac: *** Got error code 2:FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_ERROR_STATUS_FRAME_CRC_MISMATCH ph91-11-15d1t08.flac: ERROR while decoding data state = 3:FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_READ_FRAME |

11/08/2004 | Read | Just checked my discs and d1t8 verified and decoded fine, fingerprint matched the one listed here. Did you check the files against the ffp with "metaflac --show-md5sum *", or some other tool to compare ffps, or visually check the ffps? If your output from metaflac or another tool matches the ffp here then it may go to show us why an md5, (or another reliable hash of the files themselves), in addition to an ffp might be a good idea. Unless something other than an error with the flacs themselves is to blame for the CRC error. | |

I also recieve the same error as Bill when testing the integrity of the file using both flac frontend and md5check. I created a new fingerprint and it matches the one listed here. ph91-11-15d1t08.flac:364fa1c9b79940b3f19be4abc1a7ce4e note that Krunchy's original 11/16/91 source also had the error on a track which he corrected and reseeded. |

Looked at the torrent that seeded this fileset and track 8 was bad. The seeder linked to a good copy of the file that decodes fine, I guess I forgot that I grabbed it and burnt the right (decodeable) file to my archive discs. Get the fixed track 8 here - http://www.livemusicdepot.com/ph91-11-15-fix/ - and if that goes down contact me to get the fixed track. |
