Notes:
Viswas Chitnas joined the Barefoot Boys once again with his great sitar work!
He and Chris Johnson (tabla) opened the show with a marvelous set and Viswas
again played during the setbreak, this time with Walt and Jeff. Later, the rest of
the band joined in a finished the jam. Viswas then sat in for the next song.
I taped with Mark Terry, the Barefoot Manner Archivist. During the setbreak,
he and I switched mics and cables to do a mic comparison. Look for Mark's source
to get another comp, this time with our mics into his USB-pre. Personally, I can't
hear the difference, but then again, I don't have the mac-daddy playback system.
Say what you will, we had a good time geeking out! Hahaha!
The transition between discs is seamless, so you can burn however you like. The
only breaks occur between the opener and set 1, and again at setbreak.
Thanks to Mark for the sharing of his rig, and many thanks to the Band and Family
for a great evening! Hometown Boys done good!
Enjoy, and please do not sell or otherwise illegally distribute this recording.
Instead, spread it freely and turn on your friends to another great band!
