d1t2 - original track ended very abruptly
d1t10 - original track ended very abruptly
d2t5 - original track ended very abruptly
d2t6/7 - originally one track
d4t6 - original track ended very abruptly
d5t1 - original track faded out mid-verse
d5t4 - blended from 8/14/04 version and 7/3/04 version
d5t7 - original track cut at end

This is a compilation of the SBD downloads offered by dead.net
throughout the "Wave That Flag" summer tour.  It is meant to
represent a full show, using all of the tracks provided by the
band.  Tracks were edited to blend together for transitions,
but there was no mastering or normalization done.  This is my
first project of this sort, and I am very pleased with the
result.  Thanks go to all my friends at tooboard.net for giving
me input about the tracking, and particularly to MattInHBG for
the original idea.

Information about the tracks from dead.net:

The Dead released these cuts from each show on the Wave That Flag - All
Access page.  For each one, someone chose which song to release, and put a
comment about it.  Here they are:

Track           Date    Venue       Picked By
Comment

Jack Straw      8.6.04  Darien Lakes    Michael, FOH Sound  It
was between this and Watchtower, but I really liked this Jack Straw.
Time Never Ends     8.10.04 PNC Arts Center Grahame Lesh        This
is a really cool new song that they played for the first time.
8 Miles High        7.27.04 DTE Energy Ctr  Warren          Have
we done "eight miles high" yet? OK lets do that.
Dire Wolf       7.28.04 Blossom Center  Brian Lesh      I
love the way Warren sings this song.
Cassidy         6.19.04 Red Rocks   Jimmy
Cassidy was probably the tightest song of the night. We were able to do all
of the transitions really well.
Lazy River Road     6.23.04 Coors Amp   Bobby           We
finally nailed that one.
Black Throated Wind 6.29.04 USANA Amp   Jimmy           I
love that tune. Classic Bob Weir tune.
Broken Arrow        8.7.04  Tweeter Center  Robbie Taylor       The
lead by Jimmy on Smokestack was really good, but that might have been the
best Broken Arrow ever!
Strange World       6.15.04 Red Rocks   Phil            This
tune is less strange than most Mickey songs - I love the "anaconda on the
prowl" jungle groove.
Keep On Growing     8.19.04 HiFi Buys Amp   Phil            That
was really hot!
Johnny B. Goode     7.1.04  Idaho Center    Grahame         I
picked this classic rocker for you all.

Shakedown Street    8.3.04  Meadows Ctr.    The Crew        This
barely beat Gloria in a vote.
Playin'In The Band  8.17.04 Alltel Pavilion Jimmy
Branford played really well, but he's too respectful of a musician to really
go off, like some of us were hoping. I really liked this Playin'.
Nothing Else Matters    8.13.04 Jones Beach Grahame         The
Dead playing a Metallica song. How cool is that?
Loose Lucy      8.15.04 Nissan Pavilion Derek, FOH Sound    I
really thought Loose Lucy flowed all the way through.
Cortez The Killer   6.16.04 Red Rocks   Warren          How
about Cortez? That was really cool tonight, especially since its the first
time we've played it.
Space > China Doll  6.20.04 Red Rocks   Jeff            I
pick China Doll from Sunday, but include the Space and the jam before it. I
loved that part of the show.
SOYCD           8.18.04 Verizon Amp Warren
Crazy Diamond was pretty awesome!
Dear Mr. Fantasy    7.2.04  Columbia Meadow Billy           This
is what it's all about!
Night Of 1000 Stars 7.25.04 Verizon Amp Phil
Because its my song.
Low Spark       6.24.04 Verizon Amp Phil
Here's some smoldering singing from Warren and some explosive playing from
the band. Dig it
Sugar Magnolia      6.27.04 Sleep Train Amp Mickey          I'll
let Caryl pick this one.

Help>Slip>Frank     7.30.04 Tweeter Ctr Kathy, Road Manager Help
IS on the way!
Smokestack Lightning    8.7.04  PNC Center  Robbie Taylor       The
lead by Jimmy on Smokestack was really good, but that might have been the
best Broken Arrow ever!
Madman Across The Water 6.22.04 Cricket Pav.    Billy           Why
Madman? I just love that song!
Samson & Delilah    8.8.04  Tweeter Ctr Chuckles, Road Mgr  An
excellent version of Samson. It smoked!
Drumz > Space       7.23.04 UMB Bank Amp    Jeff            It's
cool to post the songs, but I like mixing it up. Also, last night's drums
was really cool.
Stella Blue     7.31.04 Tweeter Ctr Brian, Warren's roadie
That's the one I love!
Sugaree         8.11.04 PNC Arts Ctr    Grahame         The
best of this year and last year: Warren and Joan trading off verses.
Death DontHave No Mercy 8.1.04  SPAC        Everyone        By
popular demand.
The Other One       7.24.04 Alpine Valley   Bobby           We
really turned it on for last night.
Turn On Your Lovelight  8.14.04 Jones Beach Chris Charucki      I'll
go with Lovelight. I remember dancin' around a little bit to it. Brian
Farmer was making fun of me because he's jealous of my dancing abilities.
Turn On Your Lovelight  7.3.04  The Gorge   Grahame         It's
Lovelight with Derek, probably my favorite guitar player ever. How can you
go wrong?
One             6.26.04 Shoreline   Warren          I'm
really liking the new covers, so lets do "One".
US Blues        6.18.04 Red Rocks   Mickey          It's
either Cumberland or U.S. Blues. Lets do U.S. Blues, since its kind of the
theme for the tour and all.
Attics of My Life   8.4.04  Montage Mtn Grahame         This
is such a beautiful song, and its the first time they played it this year.
Enjoy!
