12/09/2004 | michael webster | This is definitely a little slow, but it's hard to really tell until Billy introduces the band. |
12/10/2004 | Justin | I am the taper and I don't notice anything. I have listened to the orginal dat, the orginal wav, flac, wav>cd, flac>wav>mp3 and it all sounds good. I recommend everyone listen and decide for themselves. |
12/11/2004 | Diana | The original observation by a listener in a mailing list was, "Early in the first set, my first impression was that the show was on the laid back side. Then I started to worry when Olde Wyne didn't sound quite right (in a different key and slower), but the clincher was Billy announcing the end of the set sounding like he had downed a bottle of cough syrup before the show." |
12/22/2004 | Ariel | The first time I heard Billy speak on this recording I thought it was someone from the 9:30 club until he says "I'm Billy Martin, I play the drums". I'm not sure if the whole recording is slow or if Billy added effects to his microphone. |

This definitely sounds slow to me -- speeding it by by a factor of 48 : 44.1 seems to make this match other performances in terms of both tempo and pitch. Anyone have a more complete setlist? Julian |
