This source can be obtained at this torrent: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=578217 The strange thing is when using TLF I get messages for about 1/2 the tracks that says in effect the "checksum in the header matches but the checksum of the audio data does not match" Checking for audio decoding it says that the wavs will decode ok but the fingerprint of the decoded wavs will not agree with the extracted wav files. When I decode and reflac I obtain the following ffp's; ph1995-11-18d1t01.flac:983e1ecfd5ab691374e1cf0b3118e1bb ph1995-11-18d1t02.flac:f7486efdceb52a2ab3c61cbe9fa99616 ph1995-11-18d1t03.flac:7ce5ce978fd247a4478baf6024f04585 ph1995-11-18d1t04.flac:380fab91a704ca561a72d27b48268e63 ph1995-11-18d1t05.flac:d0d34ab19ab5d591f16420f09b9c8d10 ph1995-11-18d1t06.flac:ac8915d49ae8fee8c3f8684e9a7e6e37 ph1995-11-18d1t07.flac:9638fc12b38f274eb0c6d2a46a98cbff ph1995-11-18d1t08.flac:87b8820c4b1830c6ada192b896934bb6 ph1995-11-18d1t09.flac:564a5f7f965b59d28c3c6802dbb13ab9 ph1995-11-18d1t10.flac:beb2f565fac1ded1c27e4fee2ab5c2d5 ph1995-11-18d2t01.flac:7ca3811d883e7aef27b2c0e3d8ef8229 ph1995-11-18d2t02.flac:dc158ac6cc08b1e56f6b7d2db69ae92e ph1995-11-18d2t03.flac:970ccd2b9764eae141b28fce8443821a ph1995-11-18d2t04.flac:b30bfa163610657318e73cd66d6465f7 ph1995-11-18d2t05.flac:e0e5a8361e987990b8cf7654021c8190 ph1995-11-18d2t06.flac:4129cdce6740769ec36dece11e073028 ph1995-11-18d2t07.flac:072f7fb7391f462f1a41bf4226e60a50 ph1995-11-18d2t08.flac:30e0a6d85f359f451cb46727bdf847b5 ph1995-11-18d2t09.flac:96eab529f49296d2db4d6f8744d69581 ph1995-11-18d2t10.flac:4ab589bbdbfd00c04dbb5d68c76f4be3 ph1995-11-18d2t11.flac:d5cd1134acdfec6009d3dcbde07250e9 the tracks where the reflac'd ffp's differ from the original ffp's are the tracks which were somehow encoded strangely. |

02/26/2017 | mvernon | I spot checked and the track boundaries do not sound distorted so my diagnosis is a very weird encoding error where the checksums in the header are different than the waveform but the waveform is still recoverable from the flac files. Note that it happens only for ~ 1/2 the files in this file set. | |
06/11/2023 | mvernon | the reflac.ffp checksums are obtained by re-flacing the original files as noted in the comments below |
