the tracks back to 1 long wave. CEP2.0 was used to align &
synch the SBD & AUD sources. CEP2.0 used to adjust the volume
for the SBD, FOB, center and LFE channels. Surcode CD Pro
DTS was used to encode to DTS.

Notes
Please note that the AUD source for 4/17 is different than the
previous 2 nights. Still at the front drink rail and still
an excellent recording.
d2t01 The AUD source was run extremely hot during "Terrapin
Station" and may suffer very mild distortion. However, this
is extremely watered down when mixed with the SBD. This is
most likely undetectable.
D2 and D3 can be assembled seamlessly on longer media.
d3t01 SBD missing 0:01:41.067 crowd cheer btwn last song and
"Donor Rap". The AUD was trimmed to match and both sources
were crossfaded to make this transitions as smooth as
possible. This is somewhat detectable.
d3t04 & 03:16 of d3t05 (Intro & 03:16 of Chalkdust) Philler
source SBD > DAT mixed with FM > DAT. Then switches to
SBD > DAT mixed with FOB > Schoeps Mk4 for the remaining.
FYI The Phish 8-16-96 philler comprises the entire 1st disc
of the DTS & Matrix of that show.
Special thanks to Charlie Miller for the amazing SBD source
and Gary Fox for the AUD source. Both of these DATs, being
so close to the masters, were in pristine condition. Not a
drop, zap, sizzle or hiccup to be found anywhere on either
source. A very rare occurrence.

More On DTS
Today's audio standards are moving towards multi-channel
sound, like DTS and Dolby Digital. While the Audio-CD
standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these
new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the
specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a
regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect
your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial)
to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure
that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the
first time you're trying to playbac
