11/06/2002 Randy Floyd For those of you that aren't from Mass, Route 2 is a highway that runs from Boston westward through the NW part of the state. As you near Williams, you enter the Berkshire Mountains where Route 2 narrows to 2 lanes (1 in each direction) and winds around as it climbs and descends the mountains before crossing into New York. It's a beautiful drive.
