01/10/2004 | micropolyphony | dark star was never played during this show. there is a brief 1.5 minute tease before masterpiece that could have materialized, but, alas, did not. the other minor d-star jam occured between ship and truckin'--this one only lasting a minute. as for the set opener, NOT D_STAR. it's just a little space to open the set. if you remember, this show was featured on the abc show, "live.....in concert with (fill in the blank)." the program this night aired both the first and second set opening songs. my guess is, the boys had to noodle a little before they went live and decided to get a little gooey for and for all a gooey night. nonetheless, d-star never really appears; two minor teases only; set ii opened with space.
01/10/2004 | danlynch | Yes, there are two teases as you've mentioned. But there is also a Dark Star Jam for several minutes between Uncle John's and Drums. I agree that the setlist should say 'tease' or 'jam' but really, its just quibbling.
01/11/2004 | scotty | Does this set has a complete Eyes? Previous SBD had the beginning cut and it was only complete on the fine FOB-tape.
03/21/2004 | ralfrick | How I wish they would release a DVD of this show. Some songs were shown on ABC's short lived revival of "In Concert", and it looked and sounded great.

so what's the word? is the beg. of Eyes clipped? thanks |
|
03/25/2004 | JD | Yep, the beginning of eyes is clipped.
03/25/2004 | JD | Also, there seems to be a well-edited cut and subsequent level drop at 6:00 in d2t08. |
