Tim's notes: The mikes we used belonged to the house engineer Sergei, whom I am friends with. I am not sure what they were, but I know that they were nabbed from Soviet Russia when Sergei left.
They sound similar to Shure Sm-81's in my opinion, with a little bit more in the super high freq's and cleaner low's by far. There is not too much crowd noise either, but it is there.
Karl's notes: For some reason the original discs had a couple spots of blank space at the beginning of d2t2 which I removed using soundforge. There is still a little problem at the 0:09 mark of d2t2 that I couldn't completely fix, but you can only hear it if you're really listening for it and know where it is :)
I also retracked the second disc a bit more to my liking since I had to rejoin the tracks to fix the original problems anyway.
