On 3/26/17 the d1, d2, d3 checksums were renamed to d1_orig, d2_orig and d3_orig. The checksums for d1_orig and d2_orig were combined and named all_shn to indicate all the tracks for this date, 8/15/97. d3 (or d3_orig) are for tracks on the date 8/16/97 and are the same as the disk 3 checksums on http://db.etree.org/shn/6090. The previous comments seem to say that when cdr's were used to distribute 8/15/97 it was common to also include a 3rd disk for a portion of the 8/16/97. Since those tracks have a shnid on the 8/16/97 date, to avoid unnecessary duplication with electronic distribution, the "all_shn" checksum was created and includes only the 8/15/97 tracks. |
