Source Info:
SBD
Source one (Set 1 only) : WMMR FM Broadcast > RTR > DAT > CD-R > EAC > .SHN (shnid=25478)
Remastering : SHN>WAV>Steinberg Mastering Edition Enhanced>Nuendo2>SHN
original Set 1 notes:
A number of unfortunate 'micro-ticks' and broadcast artifacts in the first set
D1t01 thru D2t01 was all remastered using Steinberg Mastering Edition Enhanced & Nuendo2. There was
so much that I did to each track to get it to somewhat match the Pre FM SBD I can't list them all.
All I can say is a LOT of time was put into this seed for everyone to enjoy.
Thanks to Dave Backus for the Set 1 seed and Tim Wiley for the Set 2 seed.

Source two (Set 2 only) : SBD>MR>DAT>CDR>EAC(secure)>CD WAV>Cool Edit Pro>SHN(seekable) (shind=14498)
Comments: D1t01(Help On The Way) Clicking from 0:00-:05 left alone I tried to filter it but
in doing so it ruined the recording, D1t03(Franklin's Tower) from 9:34-9:30 a buzz from ??
was deleted it wasn't part of the song it was in between tracks so I removed it.
D1t05(Wharf Rat) first 2 or 3 notes are clipped. D1t07(Dancing In The Street) Digi pop
@ :04 on both channels removed, Analog pop @ 2:03 both channels removed.
D1t08(Sugar Magnolia)Minor static @:04 both channels removed. This is a set 2 upgrade to the
FM SBD release. Enjoy!!
For Dave Backus ;)

Notes:
1. Tracking redone to coincide with start of songs (crowd noise & tuning attached to prior track)
2. Sections of crowd noise had been removed between songs on the source cds
3. Minor flaws typical of aud tapes not noted (soundfield changes from crowd standing/sitting, occasional very brief skips/drop outs)
4. shntool confirms tracks cut on sectors

seeded to etree ~1/02
05/03/2002 Matt Vernon - I've been informed that a more accurate lineage for the shn's I made would be
master cassette > 1st gen. copies on cassette > DAT (so there should be another cassette generation
in this lineage)

Tech Notes
SHNs were decoded to wave and Audition 1.0 was used to reassemble
the tracks back to 1 long wave. Audition 1.0 was used to align &
synch the SBD & both AUD sources. Audition 1.0 used to adjust the
volume for the AUD, matrix/CTR and LFE channels. Surcode
CD Pro DTS was used to encode to DTS.

More On DTS
Today's audio standards are moving towards multi-channel
sound, like DTS and Dolby Digital. While the Audio-CD
standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these
new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the
specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a
regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect
your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial)
to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure
that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the
first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you
must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the
volume very low, start the disc and raise the volume
gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the
analog audio outputs of your CD/DVD player.
Burning Instructions
Burn them the absolute same way as you would burn any
normal Audio-CD from FLAC files.
