09/04/2002 | Dave Knight | This is the best of the three nights. Beat it on down the line is pretty funny as they fudge the intro. Didn't count how many beats but it was quite a few. After going to this run of shows I never returned to this terrible venue. I'll never forget people with tickets having to crash the fence to get in since the lineups were so ridiculous. Traffic was backed up for miles down the highway and people were leaving their cars and walking to the ampitheatre. The sight lines from the lawn were obstructed by the luxury boxes above the pavillion.
01/22/2004 | uh_clem | The sound inside the pavilion at this venue was atrocious too. Those luxury boxes acted as a sound baffle and the echo was appalling. The lawn sounded better but was the most packed lawn I've ever seen. Yes this venue truly sucked. I never went back either, but neither did the Dead.
