My friend and I were escorted into the venue by Kahunaville staff erroneously, once inside we set up our gear, then the crowes came out for soundcheck. After a little while the crew realizing that we shouldn't be there, came to shut us down, and took it upon themselves to turn our DAT decks off and told us to pack up and leave. Unknowingly to them, not only was my HHB PDR1000 recording (The one they shut off), but I had my D100 also patched out of the SBM-1, which was all concealed in the backpack. They thought we were only running one setup, so once we packed away the MK4V setup they left us alone to pack up the gear and we didn't disconnect anything on the M/S setup until the last second when the soundcheck was over. We have not traded this soundcheck at all in the last 9 years, it's now about time.
