06/26/2008 tobagginoggin This is a nice pull of a classic show. Side-by-side comparison with Fleahman's AKG source (shnid 5968) convinced me that this one is superior. I couldn't help notice, however, how much they complement each other when combined. Where the Schoeps deliver a truer bottom end and fuller sound overall, the AKGs provide more treble and midrange, which brings the guest soloing into sharper relief. Just one amatuer's ears talking, but these may be prime double-AUD matrix candidates right here...
