Pearl Jam
Robin Hood Benefit
Beacon Theatre
New York,NY
July 1, 2008

This is the private benefit show that Pearl Jam did in behalf of the
Robin Hood Foundation at the Beacon Theatre.

The essence of Robin Hood's anti-poverty mission targets Early Childhood
& Youth, Education, Jobs & Economic Security & Survival.

A very worthwhile charitable cause, I beg to ask those who download this
recording to donate whatever they can afford.  Just go to www.RobinHood.org.
I donated $500 per seat for two seats, I'm hoping each of you will give at
least ten dollars, or whatever you can afford.

Pearl Jam will not be releasing this show amongst it's own "official"
bootleg series.  This may well be the only audience recording. Two years ago
when I recorded the Rolling Stones I made a similar request of you all and
you gave in great numbers.  Thank you for coming through then, and thanking
you in advance for what I hope you give again.

This was the most successful night in the 76 year history of the Beacon
Theater, raising over $3 million dollars, all of which go to the Robin
Hood cause.  Please keep the cause going and give generously.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Mostly recorded From The Second to Last Row, Center, Of The Orchestra.  I tried moving up
when the show started but by the third song was back in my original seat ... at these
charity benefit prices, there wasn't an open seat to be had.  A little boomy
in the back, it is under the overhang, and you can hear all the crowd chatter,'
nothing I could do about any of that ... nonetheless still a very listenable
and enjoyable recording.

Unfortunately my battery died during the intermission between the 1st and 2nd encores.  Sadly,
I did not realize this until after I missed two songs.  Fortunately, I had a
spare battery with me to capture the remainder of the show.

Hope you all enjoy this recording as much as I do. PLAY IT AS LOUDLY AS YOU CAN!!! Please let me know what you think. And most importantly, share it freely with your loved ones and friends.

May those who try to sell or otherwise profit from my recording be cursed with all the bad karma
that you justly deserve.
