notes:
THIS IS A DTS 5.1 AUDIO CD
This is rebuilt from the ground up and has very little to do with any of the ALD SBD or Matrix sources that are out there. The only similarity is that any ALD sourced version before came (in a very processed and gen'ed out way) from the same ALD Master.
I went back to the original Master ALD for this and used the Schoeps source for the audio. Previous matrix has the AKG source.

The static and FM noise notes from the previous Matrix are still applicable. (I replaced the most horrendous parts of static in Moma and Jim with the straight up AUD. The most noticeable of which is in Moma ~2:00- 3:36. I don't have notes for all of the patch times. Many of them were extremely short and innocuous, but there were quite few of them. Most all of the patches were in Moma and Jim, so after Jim, everything is patch free.) Just because they are patch free does not mean that they are free of FM noise. It comes and goes throughout in small little flutters.
Making a 5.1 really helps to mask this, but does not totally hide it at all. Especially when the noise is quick and sharp. Nonetheless, I think this is a pleasure to listen to, and ridiculously better than the ALD/AKG matrix that is out.

MIXDOWN:
There are some variances and process in the mix, but it would be way too detailed and text intensive to name them all, so as a rough guide:
LF and RF are roughly 50/50 sbd/aud.
LS and RS are 100% Aud
C is a summed mono of the ALD SBD (no Aud)
LFE is the C channel with a low pass of 100 hz, then gained back to 0db.

In the DTS mix, the SBD D/Os are essentially a quad mix of the schoeps.

All final mix determination was done on a 14 speaker DTS system designed by Mark Levinson. Again, I can't thank nakguy enough for hooking me up with his sweet listening chamber.

Surcode DTS-CD Professional was used to create the final DTS wav files.
For best results, crank this to 11.
