08/27/2003 | G | I have this source and noticed no issues at all with the source and I listened to the whole thing with a decent pair of headphones.
08/29/2003 | Jon | I did verify that the md5s I have are the same, and I have to agree with Kevin's comments. There are lots of clicks and pops throughout the recording. These are all very minor, but definitely noticeable and all to frequent, imo.

Alrighty... I have 2 versions of this show, both with the same MD5s and text file. The first, which verifys using these MD5s, has no pops and clicks as far as I can tell. I'll have to listen again at proper volume at home (instead of here at the office - boss gets mad at "proper volume"). The other set (which is supposed to be the same) does NOT verify with these MD5s and has "no magic number" errors when I try to SHN>WAV. I wonder if there is a third set out there that is a corruption of the original and that's the one with all the pops and clicks... Of course, this is what MD5s are for... I'm surprised that one set that verifys has pops and another that also verifys does not... Something is screwed up here... Terry PS how does the Neumann source for this show sound??? |

10/04/2003 | hans | I was surprised by the earlier comments so I relistened to all of set 2 at excessive volumes...My copy has no clicks or pops, excellent sound, and matches the first release md5s (8/6). People should not stay away from this seed!!
12/05/2004 | starsuck | words don't do justice to Trey's work during Thunderhead. sensitive, powerful music... |
