--PLEASE READ-- Thank you for considering a trade with me. And if we're doing a b&p, thank you twice! If you see something on my list that you want, write me. I'm always up for a trade or a b&p. And send me a link to your list, too. I am always looking for good SHNs or Audio CDs of the following groups or their members: Pink Floyd, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Grateful Dead, Talking Heads, the Who, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Rusted Root, Bob Dylan, King Crimson, Yes, Primus...that's all I can think of off the top of my head. --MY RULES-- *B&P's welcome! *I try to have a quick turn-around on all of my trading. I usually get your package in the mail the next day the post office is open. If a delay will be longer than 2 days, I'll let you know. Please do the same for me. *Be honest about the quality of a recording. I like to actually listen to what I get, so if you think the quality is substandard, please tell me so (I'll probably just ask for something different off of your list or offer you a b&p). *If given a choice, I prefer SHN over CD Audio. I won't automatically say no to an audio CD, though. *No MP3's *If sending Audio CDRs, PLEASE record DAO (if you don't know what this means, ask me and I'll help). *Please use some sort of padded envelope when sending your disks. *If you see something you're interested in e-mail me and send me a link to your list. Even if you don't see a band listed on my page I can almost always find something on somebody's list that I'd like to try. I guess that's all. Happy Trading! |

01/05/92 | Arlington | VA | Rutabega Studio | 1 SHN | Great sounding show. song "After Her" = "Satellite" with alternate lyrics. Two step has "Almond Joy" opening.
09/11/92 | Charlottesville | VA | Delta Kappa Epsilon House, U. of Virginia | 1 SHN | High quality show - great recording. I have this SHN'd on a disk with DMB 4/29/96 - if you want 'em both I'll count it as 1 for trading purposes! This show was liberated from the bootleg "Big Man On Campus" and is believed to be straight from DAT. [Note: This might actually be SBD>Cassette]

11/27/91 | Charlottesville | VA | Trax | 0
05/06/92 | Richmond | VA | Flood Zone | 1 SHN | Both Recently and What Would You Say were cut slightly by the tape flip on the analog. Consequently, there is a fade-in/out between these two songs. The quality of this recording may not be overly impressive, but it has the ever-rare ABC Jam, a cover of the Jackson 5 song.
09/30/92 | Richmond | VA | Flood Zone | 0
12/31/92 | Richmond | VA | The Omni Hotel | 2 SHN | Notes: - I made one edit after transferring at 9:47 of Blue Water. There was a short pop in the right channel. I simply cloned 20 samples from the left channel to replace the "pop" samples. I generally don't make edits, but I figured that less than 1/2000th of a second is hardly a big deal.
08/19/93 | New York | NY | Wetlands Preserve | 3 AUD | Haven't listened to it yet - check back for a review!
02/05/94 | Athens | GA | Georgia Theatre | 2 SHN
10/15/94 | Pelham | AL | Oak Mountain Amphitheatre | 1 AUD | Opened for Phish. My version has 8 tracks! Track 8 is DMB and Phish jamming together and going into the song "The Maker". There are "jumps" between some of the tracks - like someone edited out crowd noice. I didn't notice it until I listened to it with headphones. The effect is hardly noticeable and it sounds like all of the wacky "dave-speak" is intact.
01/26/95 | Burlington | VT | Memorial Auditorium | 1 AUD | 01: Seek Up(Faded into) 02: #36 03: Dancing Nancies-> 04: The Best Of What's Around(Faded out of) 05: Rhyme & Reason (Faded out of) 06: Jimi Thing->* 07: Jimi Thing Jam->* 08: Recently->* Wine Water Jam->* 09: Ants Marching*(faded out of) 10: Nature->Tripping Billies(Cut at end) * w/ Trey Anastasio
12/30/95 | Hampton | VA | Hampton Coliseum | 2 AUD
04/29/96 | Charlottesville | VA | Max | 1 SHN | Crash CD release party Dave mentions that they are heading across the street to play some more, i assume this is the TRAX show that is also listed on this date. My SHN also has DMB 9/11/92 as fill. If you want both shows, I'll only count it as 1 for trading purposes.

11/14/73 | San Diego | CA | San Diego Sports Arena | 2 SHN | Very good recording & good show. To maintain the song order as played and not break the continuous section at the start of set 2, 4 disks are required. However, the 3 songs on disk 4 will fit at the end of the first set by appending to disk 2 and using an 80 minute disk or by moving Row Jimmy from Disk 2 to disk 1 if only 74 minute disks are desired.
12/12/73 | Atlanta | GA | The Omni | 2 SHN | Includes Soundcheck
02/24/74 | San Francisco | CA | Winterland Arena | 2 SHN
06/18/74 | Louisville | KY | Freedom Hall | 2 SHN | This version sounds nothing like the previously-circulating "sbd>reel>reel>dat" version and represents a MAJOR upgrade.
03/20/77 | San Francisco | CA | Winterland Arena | 2 SHN
05/11/78 | Springfield | MA | Springfield Civic Center | 3 AUD | Very clean SBD source
11/29/80 | Gainesville | FL | Alligator Alley Gymnasium, University Of Florida | 2 SHN
03/27/88 | Hampton | VA | Hampton Coliseum | 3 AUD
10/12/89 | East Rutherford | NJ | Meadowlands Arena | 2 SHN | Good show, good sound quality. Only criticism is that the gain on the instruments seems a little low compared to microphones during the first track. The sound man works it out, though and the rest of the show sounds well-balanced.
07/12/90 | Washington | DC | Robert F. Kennedy Stadium | 2 SHN | Very clean recording. My version has ALL of the tuning between songs (a little annoying but the tuning is seperated into seperate tracks so it's easy to edit out yourself). One of the stage mikes drops out for a 1/2 a second during the beginning of "Dear Mr. Fantasy".

11/23/96 | Philadelphia | PA | Electric Factory | 1 AUD | Very good, clean recording - sounds like it could be SBD (but I can't say for sure). Interesting stage banter between songs.
